What we do

Eight areas of practice.

Most of what walks through the door falls into one of these. If yours does not, say so anyway – it is a short conversation to find out.

How it works

What actually happens when you engage us.

Step 01

Talk to us

Book a consultation. We look at your actual situation – your visa history, your documents, your timing – and tell you what is available and what is not.

Step 02

Advice and scope in writing

If we take the matter on you get a written service agreement setting out the work, the fees and the disbursements before any of it starts.

Step 03

We prepare and lodge

We gather and check the evidence, prepare the forms and the submission, and lodge the application through ImmiAccount.

Step 04

We deal with the Department

Requests for further information, health and character, and the deadlines attached to them. You hear from us when something needs your answer.

You will always know what you are paying and what for. The fees and the scope of work go into a written service agreement before the work starts, and you get an itemised invoice and a receipt for money received. That is what the Code of Conduct requires, and it is how this practice is run.

Refusals and cancellations

If you have been refused, the clock is already running.

Review deadlines are set by law, are measured in days, and generally cannot be extended – not by the Tribunal, not by the Department, and not by us. Missing one usually ends the matter no matter how good the case was.

If you are holding a refusal or cancellation letter, do not wait to see what happens. Bring us the letter, with its date, and we will tell you what your options are and how long you have to use them.

Who you are dealing with Arash Barinder Singh, registered migration agent

I came here as a student in 2007.

“I know firsthand the struggle. The paperwork, the waiting, the uncertainty about what comes next for you and your family. I never gave up, and I got my permanent residence in 2011.”

Arash studied migration law in 2013. The practice is run from Southport on the Gold Coast, and he is the person you will actually be dealing with.
